About the Role
As a Technician, you will lead on-site restoration projects for water, fire, mould, storm damage, and biohazard overseeing daily operations, supervising contractors, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to IICRC standards. Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, insurers, and subcontractors, you will provide technical direction with a hands-on approach, maintain clear communication, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality. This role is ideal for experienced restoration professionals who thrive on being part of a winning team, solving complex on-site challenges, and delivering outstanding results across diverse projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate restoration projects, including water extraction, structural drying, smoke and soot removal, and mould remediation and biohazard (where qualified)

  • Conduct site assessments and develop restoration plans using moisture mapping and restoration software

  • Supervise, mentor, and support technicians, labourers, and contractors to ensure safe and efficient project delivery

  • Maintain compliance with IICRC standards, OH&S requirements, and company procedures

  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation including job records, site reports, and insurance paperwork

  • Communicate with clients, insurers, subcontractors, and internal teams to provide progress updates and ensure satisfaction

 

About You

  • Proven experience in restoration or related industries

  • IICRC certifications highly regarded

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide field teams

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills

  • Physically capable of working in demanding site environments

  • Full driver’s licence, White Card, Working with Children Crim History Check -

  • Additional certifications such as EWP are advantageous
