The Opportunity

Firesafe24 is seeking an experienced Mobile Systems Fire Suppression Technician to join our high-performing, fast-paced team in the Bowen Basin. This role operates on a 7/7 roster and is available on a FIFO or DIDO basis, with travel and accommodation provided.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Install, service, and inspect fire suppression systems in accordance with relevant standards and regulations

• Diagnose, trouble shoot and repair system faults or component failures

• Identify non-compliant items or system defects

• Accurately complete all required paperwork, service reports, and compliance documentation

• Provide training and guidance to customers on the correct use and maintenance of installed equipment

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through prompt, professional communication and site callouts

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection & Testing (CPP20521)

• Sound knowledge or willingness to learn Australian Standards (including AS185-2012)

• Proven experience with mobile suppression system installation and servicing

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Reliable, safety aware with a strong attention to detail

• Working at Heights, Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical are desirable but not essential

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to fault find and provide practical solutions

• Strong communicator with exceptional customer service skills

• Willingness to travel to remote or regional sites
