The Role
As a Security Officer at The Ville Resort-Casino, you'll play a crucial role within our dedicated team, safeguarding the well-being of our employees, visitors, and guests. Your responsibilities will encompass a spectrum of security services aimed at fostering a secure environment. Your commitment to delivering exceptional service to our guests will be matched by your diligence in protecting our business assets and upholding casino compliance standards.
  
About You
  • Previous relevant experience in security or crowd control will be well regarded, or transferrable skills gained from working in the Defence sector, Community correction facilities or similar first responder roles.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a QLD Casino Employee License, which requires the candidate to undergo stringent background reference checking, are mandatory requirements.
  • Current qualifications in First Aid and CPR or willing to obtain.
  • Current Statement of Attainment in Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Service of Gambling is mandatory prior to commencement.
  • Outstanding customer service and ability to demonstrate the highest degree of character and integrity.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or unsupervised.
  • Flexibility to be rostered for shiftwork across a 24-hour operation, and full availability to work a 7-days on / 7-days off rotating roster.
  • Physically fit with the ability to stand or be active for extended periods of time.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, along with a high level of written and verbal communication skills.
