Mechanical Fitter

CSG Talent have an opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a quarry operation in Bajool. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining the reliability, safety and performance of fixed and mobile plant equipment in a heavy industrial environment.

About the Role

• Maintain fixed and mobile plant in line with preventative maintenance schedules
• Conduct breakdown repairs and fault finding
• Complete statutory inspections and ensure compliance with Australian standards
• Manage mechanical records, drawings and spare parts
• Support minor projects including installation and commissioning
• Promote safe work practices and maintain high housekeeping standards
• Provide after-hours breakdown support as required

About You

• Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Tradesperson
• Minimum 5 years' experience in heavy industry or quarry operations
• Experience with crushing plant and mobile equipment such as loaders, excavators, dump trucks
• Strong fault-finding and preventative maintenance skills
• Computer literate in MS Office; SAP/SCADA advantageous
• Current driver's licence.
