Evoke Maintenance Services (EMS) is expanding and we are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our growing team working near Nebo.

This is a hands-on role suited to a mature, self-reliant tradesperson who takes pride in their work, maintains high safety standards, and can operate confidently with minimal supervision.

EMS was founded by directors who started on the tools. We understand site work and support our crews with practical leadership, stable rosters and a team culture people choose to stay for.

The Role

You will work across a range of carpentry and construction tasks, initially on a mine site, supporting civil and concrete works while delivering high-quality outcomes safely and efficiently.

Roster:             4 days on / 3 days off

Location:         Mine near Nebo (Bowen Basin)

Transport:       Provided from Mackay

We are looking for someone with the right mindset as much as the right skills. The ideal candidate is reliable, practical and capable of managing their work independently while contributing to the crew.

Essential requirements:

• Carpentry Trade Qualification

• Coal Board Medical (CBM)

• Standard 11 (current)

• Strong safety focus and quality workmanship

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks

• Current QLD Driver’s Licence

• White Card

• Full Australian working rights

Candidates with current CBM and Standard 11 will be prioritised for immediate mobilisation.
