CNC Machinist

TS Global is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our Mackay operations team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will coordinate machining activities while leading a team to deliver safe, high-quality and efficient manufacturing outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support a team of machinists and apprentices in the machine shop

• Perform manual and CNC machining to engineering drawings and specifications

• Coordinate daily machining work to meet production schedules

• Ensure work is completed safely and to company quality standards

• Monitor job progress and provide updates to the Workshop Manager

• Support workshop organisation, consumables management and continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring

• Trade qualification in machining or related mechanical trade

• Minimum 5 years post-trade machining experience

• Strong experience in manual and CNC machining

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a workshop environment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality

• Ability to organise work, meet deadlines and support team productivity
