🎨 What You’ll Be Doing

As a Paint Salesperson, you’ll be the friendly face and trusted advisor our customers rely on. Reporting to the Store Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering standout customer service across our full product range — automotive, marine, industrial, house paints, and consumables

  • Assisting with point‑of‑sale tasks, invoicing, and general admin

  • Supporting warehouse operations when needed

  • Building strong, long‑term relationships with customers and trade partners

  • Ensuring the showroom and warehouse are clean, organised, and welcoming

  • Answering and processing orders via phone and email

  • Preparing quotes promptly and accurately

  • Receiving and checking incoming stock

  • Picking, packing, and organising deliveries for customers

  • Handling customer enquiries, concerns, and occasional complaints with professionalism

  • Using colour‑matching software and equipment to help customers find the perfect shade

  • Tinting and mixing paint to exact specifications

  • Following all Workplace Health & Safety procedures

  • Pitching in with general store and warehouse duties as required

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a busy, hands‑on environment. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong verbal and phone communication skills

  • A positive, can‑do attitude

  • A genuine interest in building long‑term customer relationships

  • Excellent organisation and time‑management abilities

  • Close attention to detail and accuracy

  • Physical capability to lift items of 20kg or more

  • Experience in a similar or related industry

  • A current forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
