🎨 What You’ll Be Doing
As a Paint Salesperson, you’ll be the friendly face and trusted advisor our customers rely on. Reporting to the Store Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Delivering standout customer service across our full product range — automotive, marine, industrial, house paints, and consumables
Assisting with point‑of‑sale tasks, invoicing, and general admin
Supporting warehouse operations when needed
Building strong, long‑term relationships with customers and trade partners
Ensuring the showroom and warehouse are clean, organised, and welcoming
Answering and processing orders via phone and email
Preparing quotes promptly and accurately
Receiving and checking incoming stock
Picking, packing, and organising deliveries for customers
Handling customer enquiries, concerns, and occasional complaints with professionalism
Using colour‑matching software and equipment to help customers find the perfect shade
Tinting and mixing paint to exact specifications
Following all Workplace Health & Safety procedures
Pitching in with general store and warehouse duties as required

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a busy, hands‑on environment. The ideal candidate will have:
Strong verbal and phone communication skills
A positive, can‑do attitude
A genuine interest in building long‑term customer relationships
Excellent organisation and time‑management abilities
Close attention to detail and accuracy
Physical capability to lift items of 20kg or more
Experience in a similar or related industry
A current forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
