Elite Resource Australia is seeking 4–6 experienced Boilermakers for the upcoming shutdown at the Victoria Sugar Mill in Ingham, QLD. This shutdown involves major repairs and maintenance, with minimum 1 month of work and excellent conditions.

Mobilisation is Monday 9 March, with work commencing Tuesday 10 March or Wednesday 11 March.

This is a large-scale mill maintenance program requiring skilled trades for structural, mechanical, and repair works across the site. Crews will work 12‑hour shifts (paid break) across both day and night shift rosters.

 

Pay Rates

  • $55/hr – Base Rate

  • $70/hr – OT1

  • $82/hr – OT2

  • 12‑hour shifts with paid break

  • 4 hours paid travel at the start and end of each swing

  • Accommodation provided (10 minutes from site)

  • $60/day LAHA for meals

 

Mobilisation Options

  • Drive yourself direct to Ingham

  • OR fly to Townsville – client will provide a vehicle for the drive to Ingham

  • Paid travel (4 hours) applies both ways

 

Role Requirements

  • Trade‑qualified Boilermaker

  • Confined Space

  • Working at Heights

  • Gas Test Atmospheres

  • White Card

  • Driver’s Licence

  • HRWL (advantage but not essential)

  • Fit for duty and shutdown‑ready

  • Drug and alcohol test

  • Own PPE

 

Shifts

  • Mix of day shift and night shift

  • 12‑hour days with paid break

  • Minimum 1 month with potential extension
