We're hiring for local workshop positions - $50ph + overtime.

About The Opportunity
With ongoing growth within the organisation, our client is expanding their skilled trades team in Townsville. Both workshop and site-based work with positions commencing on a local basis.
These positions offer immediate starts in a labour hire position with the view to transition to a permanent role for the right candidates.

Positions Available

  • Boilermakers
  • Welders
  • Mechanical Fitters


About these Positions
Varying between roles, your position will include:

  • Fabrication, welding and mechanical fitting tasks
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawing and specifications
  • Operating and maintaining specialised equipment safely and efficiently
  • Participating in workshop builds, site projects and shutdown activities.


What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in these roles, you will hold:

  • Relevant trade certificate - Boilermaker or Fitter
  • Welders: ability to pass a weld test
  • Working at heights and confined space tickets are highly desirable.
  • Construction White Card
  • Reliability and punctuality.
