We are seeking a skilled and experienced Refrigeration Technician to join a leading mining operation’s Refrigeration Department.
This is a residential role offering long-term employment, stability, and the chance to work on a wide range of industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

You will demonstrate a strong commitment to safe work practices and will be part of a professional team, showing sound decision-making, effective communication, and the ability to meet deadlines in a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems
• Service and maintain chillers, large DX plants, package and split systems, water coolers, ice machines, cold rooms, air driers, and pressurisation units
• Respond to plant breakdowns and effectively prioritise work to minimise downtime
• Maintain a high standard of professional workmanship and discretionary effort
• Work collaboratively with the team while ensuring compliance with workplace Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Queensland Restricted Electrical Workers Licence
• Refrigerant Handling Licence
• Australian Manual Driver’s Licence
• Extensive experience in installation and maintenance of industrial refrigeration systems
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
• Ability to adapt to new challenges and continuously develop technical skills
• Sound understanding of workplace Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements
• Safety-focused with a proactive, solution-oriented approach
