We are looking for a driven Account Manager to join our team and partner with customers across the construction industry to deliver outstanding service, strong commercial outcomes, and long-term relationships. 

As an Account Manager within our Regional Concrete and Quarries business, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers around Townsville, Queensland. You will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service whilst ensuring high standards are upheld and align with the ‘Boral Way’, as well as lead by example as a key representative of the business to the external market.

You will work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and the successful delivery of Boral’s concrete and aggregate products and services.

Your Day Will Involve:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers within the region.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth across the region.
  • Provide expert advice on our range of products and services, ensuring the right solutions for our customers.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the efficient delivery of products and services to customers.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to develop effective strategies.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to customers.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent communication and problem-solving.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

What We Are Looking For?

  • Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably within the concrete, quarries or related industries.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work autonomously.
  • Excellent stakeholder and relationship building skills
  • A full driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region. Occasional overnight travel will be required.
  • A commitment to safety and environmental standards.
