Reliability Engineer – Mechanical 

Join a major mining operation offering long‑term stability, strong career pathways and a supportive technical team. This role is based in Mackay.

What You’ll Do
  • Analyse plant performance data to drive improvements across processing operations
  • Investigate downtime events, complete weekly reporting and identify root causes
  • Support incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented
  • Coordinate equipment improvement trials and manage change processes
  • Lead reliability projects including strategy reviews and PM optimisation

What You’ll Bring
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 3+ years’ experience in reliability within mining or heavy industry
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability
  • Experience with RCA, FMECA and plant performance improvement
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Current driver’s license
