The role

Moranbah Mini Earthmovers Pty Ltd is seeking a Multi Skilled Operator to join our team in Moranbah, QLD on a contract basis. In this role, you will perform a variety of heavy equipment operations to support our civil projects, on a Mine site in the local area.

What you'll be doing

• Operate a range of heavy machinery and equipment such as Scraper, Graders and trucks

• Perform general maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety

• Assist with site preparation, earthworks, loading/unloading, and material handling

• Work collaboratively within a small team environment to deliver project outcomes

• Adhere to all workplace health and safety policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Multi Skilled Operator in the mining or construction industry

• Minimum 6 months' Mine site experience.

• Competent in the operation of a range of heavy equipment including Scraper, graders and trucks

• Experience required on at least one equipment type with willingness to develop skills across multiple machines

• The ability to perform basic maintenance

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Current driver's licence and relevant tickets/licenses (e.g. HC, Scraper, Grader)

• Commitment to safety and a demonstrated track record of working safely

This role operates on a 9‑day fortnight roster (Monday–Thursday one week, Monday–Friday the next). Every weekend off!

The project is scheduled to commence in April and continue through to December, covering the full delivery period.
