Clermont Open Cut is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Maintenance Planner / Scheduler to join our Planning & Reliability team on site. Located on the western edge of the Bowen Basin, Clermont Open Cut is a high performing truck & shovel operation that produces 12 million tonnes of coal per annum. Clermont Open Cut Operation is a safe and inclusive workplace focused on delivering high performance outcomes. Reporting to the Planning & Reliability Superintendent, this role will offer variety and opportunity to the right individual.
 

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Developing, maintaining and providing clearly structured plans and deliverables for implementation through the execution team
  • Scheduling heavy mobile plant works, including sourcing labour requirements
  • Ensuring plans meet availability requirements
  • Ensuring work is executed within monthly budget structures
  • Promoting innovation and operational enhancements to achieve high performance outcomes
  • Driving performance, safety and productivity of relevant plant and equipment through process improvement
  • Engaging with maintenance personnel and key stakeholders to ensure a ‘hands-on’ approach towards the planning of maintenance workloads

Requirements of the role include:

  • 2+ years’ experience in maintenance planning or scheduling
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to establish positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Significant experience in computerised maintenance systems (SAP) will be highly regarded
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suites, including Excel and Project
  • QLD Drivers Licence

This role requires a safety conscious candidate prepared to challenge the norm, drive continuous improvement and who can demonstrate experience in implementing best practise using a hands-on approach.
