We’re looking for a committed Field Service Diesel Fitter specialising in Heavy Earthmoving Plant and Equipment looking for a new opportunity. Ideally, you are from an open-cut mining / civil background. You’ll be joining an expanding team within an established, growing business in the Mackay region. You’ll be provided with a company field service vehicle to take home.

 What you’ll do: 

• Maintain and service our modern fleet of earthmoving equipment

•   Carry out breakdown diagnosis and repairs as required

•   Conduct inspections, scope machine work, and manage parts orders

What we’re looking for: 

•    Trade qualified (Diesel Fitter)

•    Confident with diagnostics and problem-solving

•     Leadership experience – desirable

•    Current standard 11 inductions

•    Post Trade experience with heavy earthmoving equipment; Caterpillar, Komatsu or Hitachi experience will be highly regarded

•   Strong focus on safety and quality
