Boilermakers & Riggers

Steelarc Engineering is currently seeking Casual site Boilermakers and Riggers to join our team supporting site maintenance, shutdowns, and project work across the Mackay region and Bowen Basin.

This is an opportunity to be part of a skilled workforce supporting a variety of mine site maintenance activities including wash plant maintenance, fixed and mobile plant repairs, and equipment rebuilds.

We are looking for reliable tradespeople who enjoy varied work, flexible engagements, and working as part of a professional site team.

About the Role

• Wash plant maintenance and shutdown work

• Structural repairs and equipment rebuilds

• Fixed and mobile plant maintenance

• Hydraulic repairs and machine relocations

• General site maintenance and trade support

• Working collaboratively with site crews to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes

• Opportunities to move into full-time employment for the right candidates after a successful probation period.

 What You Bring

• Cert III Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or equivalent) - boilermakers

• Experience with structural repairs, fabrication, and maintenance work – boilermakers

• High Risk Work Licence – Rigger (RI / RA / RB)

• Current Driver’s Licence

• Strong commitment to safety and quality

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

• Previous mine site or heavy industry experience highly regarded
