Protech is currently seeking experienced Truck & Multi Skilled Operators to join our team at Middlemount Coal.

Middlemount Coal is an open cut mine located in Queensland’s Bowen Basin. This is a fantastic opportunity could secure long-term work with a site boasting a 20-year life of mine.

Middlemount Coal is a joint venture between Peabody Energy and Yancoal, situated just 7km west of Middlemount and 90km northeast of Emerald.

Reporting to the Production Superintendent, you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy mobile plant equipment. You’ll work collaboratively with your crew and the wider site team to deliver high-quality results safely.

What You’ll Bring:

• Minimum 18 months’ experience in open-cut mining
• Experience operating:
  • Trucks – CAT 785, 789, 793, 797 or equivalent
  • Multi-skilled experience on additional equipment such as Dozers, Graders, Excavators and Loaders
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Skills list signed by SSE or front cover assessments
• Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
• Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
• Australian working rights
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol screening.
