Terregen is a privately owned, well-established contractor delivering quality civil and rehabilitation work at mine sites across Queensland. We operate small, capable crews and pride ourselves on running a professional, safety-focused business with a practical, down-to-earth culture.

We're not a big corporate contractor — and we don't want to be. We're looking for good multi skilled operators who are reliable, flexible and take pride in their work.

All positions start casual. Permanent roles come over time to operators who consistently perform, look after the gear and fit the team.

We're currently recruiting for roles in Moranbah on an indicative 7/7 roster and are also keen to grow our casual labour pool for people who want to pick up occasional swings. DIDO to Moranbah preferred but will also consider operators who are FIFO out of Brisbane - flights at our cost.

About the role

• Day shift only:

  • drill pad construction and rehabilitation

  • road maintenance

  • other civils works as required by our clients

  • environmental rehabilitation

• Our clients are tier-one mining companies. We don't subcontract to other contractors.

• We operate low hour, mostly Caterpillar equipment.

About you

The skills you need

• RIIs obtained or renewed within the last 4 years, and experience in operating at least two or more of the following equipment- grader, excavator, water truck, loader, haul truck, vac truck, service truck, tractor, spreader, backhoe, dozer.

• Current Coal Board Medical (Health Assessment).

• Standard 11 certificate dated within the previous 4 years.

• Current Open Driver Licence (HR preferred).

• Computer literate - capable of completing online inductions.

• Minimum 1-2 years of mining experience required.

• Agricultural background or experience preferred.
