Maintenance Boilermakers – CHPP

We are currently seeking experienced Maintenance Boilermakers to join our team at a Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP).
We have multiple positions available:

7/7 roster – Day Shift Only
4/3 roster – Day Shift Only

These are excellent opportunities for boilermakers looking for consistent day shift work in a well-established CHPP environment.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and fabrication of plant and equipment within the CHPP to ensure safe, reliable and efficient plant operation.
Key responsibilities include:

• Breakdown repairs and fault diagnosis on fixed plant
• Preventative and planned maintenance
• Structural repairs and fabrication
• Welding on conveyors, chutes, bins, and process plant equipment
• Inspection and maintenance of plant structures and components
• Ensuring compliance with site safety and statutory requirements
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Trade qualification as a Boilermaker / Fabricator
• Previous experience in a CHPP, mining or heavy industrial environment
• Strong welding and fabrication skills
• Experience working on conveyors, chutes, crushers, screens and process plant equipment (highly regarded)
• Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Working at Heights and Confined Space (highly regarded)
• Commitment to safety and teamwork
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence
