Moorvale Earthmoving is a well-established civil construction contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality services across Central Queensland. With long-standing partnerships in both the Civil and Mining sectors—including repeat work from some of Australia's largest coal mines—we're growing rapidly and expanding our internal team.

We're now looking for three experienced Rehabilitation Supervisors to oversee large-scale environmental rehabilitation operations in the Bowen Basin. This project involves restoring mined land, using a dedicated fleet of dozers, moxys, graders, scrapers and support equipment.

This is a critical role requiring a high standard of planning, compliance, and team leadership to meet strict KPIs and regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise day-to-day rehab operations, ensuring safe and efficient use of plant and personnel
  • Manage a fleet of heavy earthmoving equipment dedicated to rehabilitation works
  • Ensure compliance with strict environmental and site-specific KPIs
  • Coordinate daily work schedules, resource allocation, and reporting requirements
  • Lead by example in safety, environmental care, and operational standards
  • Liaise with site clients, internal stakeholders, and environmental teams
  • Conduct inspections, pre-starts, and contribute to continuous improvement
About You:
  • Proven experience supervising civil or mining rehabilitation projects
  • Solid understanding of compliance-driven rehab and environmental standards
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills
  • Ability to manage performance, track progress against KPIs, and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working in remote site environments with a hands-on approach
  • Exceptional communication, planning, and reporting skills
Requirements:
  • Previous supervisory experience in rehabilitation or related civil/mining operations
  • Competency tickets for relevant plant (highly regarded)
  • S1, S2, S3 or G1, G8, G9
  • Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical
  • Current Driver's Licence
