CLH Transport operates a modern fleet of trucks servicing Tandy Concrete, a pre-mixed concrete supplier with fixed plants located in Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Mackay, Marian and Airlie Beach.

About the role

We are seeking experienced and reliable Full-Time HR Concrete (Agitator) Truck Drivers with an unrestricted licence (Road Ranger / crash box) to join our team in the Yeppoon.

In this role, you will be responsible for the safe mixing, inspection, and delivery of pre-mixed concrete, ensuring product quality, reliability, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a concrete agitator truck to safely deliver loads to customers

• Follow dispatch instructions and complete assigned tasks efficiently

• Conduct pre-start inspections and monitor product quality during transit

• Regularly clean and maintain the allocated vehicle

• Perform occasional yard maintenance as required

• Accurately complete delivery dockets and associated documentation

• Communicate professionally with customers and on-site personnel

• Adhere to all health and safety regulations at all times

 

Qualifications and Experience

The successful applicant will possess the following skills and experience:

• Current valid, unrestricted HR Licence (Open Licence – Road Ranger / crash box) – mandatory

• Experience driving a concrete agitator truck is preferred but not essential – full training will be provided

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills to interpret job instructions and maintain accurate records

• Strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively within a team

• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service

• Self-motivated with a professional and courteous manner

• Demonstrated commitment to workplace health, safety and environmental responsibilities
