As one of Australia's leading Road Transport Companies established in 1984, we are looking for a Tilt Tray Driver to join our team to carry out pickups and deliveries within the Metro Townsville and North Queensland areas. Working with General Freight as a proven driver and drawing on your sound knowledge of WHS both in the workplace and on the road, this role is suited to someone who has sound geographical knowledge and who takes pride in their work, always considering the customer's and company’s needs.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have demonstrated experience in load restraint of general freight, pickups and deliveries

• Have proven experience loading machinery 

• Have previous experience completing daily vehicle pre-start checks and driver fitness

• Have proven experience with Tilt Trays

• Road Ranger experience essential

• Hold a minimum of HR licence with proven experience (MC Licence preferred)

• Be efficient in completing the necessary delivery paperwork including run sheets and work diaries

• Forklift licence preferable

• Dangerous Good training available for the right candidate
