Casual position with 6 Month Probation, leading to full time employment for the right applicant

About the role...

We are currently looking for a Local Delivery Driver to service our daily delivery needs within the Townsville area (MR licence and previous delivery experience preferred by not mandatory as training can be provided for the right candidate). Day shifts are available on a permanent full time basis after a successful 6 month probationary period and there is room to grow into leadership positions.

The roll involves loading of glass product and delivering within the Townsville area on a daily basis Monday to Friday only. Dispatch duties also involve loading of glass product onto stillages for supply locally and/or collection by external freight suppliers. 

Forklift licence and crane experience while not essential is advantageous.   

Working in a friendly and supportive environment, reporting to a Team Coordinator, you will assist in achieving daily KPI's.  You will be provided with properly structured and regulated onsite training, including but not limited to the following tasks:

• Unloading glass

• Racking glass

• Quality checking

• Assisting loaders with orders for trucks

• Assisting in warehousing duties

• General housekeeping maintenance of the work space

• Delivery of Glass Product

The Candidate must possess the following

All successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and medical, Driving history required.
