Hired Labour is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join the Blenners Transport warehouse team at the Mackay depot. This role focuses on the unloading and loading of freight for all inbound and outbound trucks at the depot using a forklift.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain forklifts, including daily checks and secure storage.

• Load, unload, and store freight efficiently, following HACCP, AQIS, and import standards.

• Perform temperature checks and record data for all consignments before acceptance.

• Complete accurate documentation and assist with stock takes and cycle counts.

• Keep the depot clean, safe, and organized at all times.

Role Requirements

• 2 years’ experience in cold stores operation - chillers / freezers and transport

• A current LF Forklift - licence

• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work autonomously highly desired

• Must be flexible on varying start and finish times of roster 

• Expectation to work a rotating weekend shift every second week
