About the role

Nortrans' is seeking an experienced HC / MC Driver to join our busy road transport team in Townsville, QLD. As a full-time Driver, you'll be responsible for safely operating heavy commercial vehicles to deliver goods across the region. This is a hands-on role that is crucial to our continued success and growth.

What you'll be doing

1. Safely operating HC and MC class vehicles to transport goods and materials

2. Loading and unloading vehicles as required

3. Completing necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and on time

4. Maintaining the cleanliness and roadworthiness of your assigned vehicle

5. Adhering to all relevant road laws, safety regulations and company policies

6. Communicating effectively with the operations team and customers

What we're looking for

1. Experience with Side loaders is an advantage.

2. A current HC or MC driver's licence with a clean driving record

3. Demonstrated experience operating heavy commercial vehicles

4. Strong organisational and time management skills

5. Excellent communication and customer service abilities

6. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety

7. The ability to work independently and as part of a team
