About the Position

The successful candidate will work on a variety of family law matters, including property settlements, divorce, domestic violence, parenting, and children's matters. For the right applicant this role will provide a solid base to develop a long-term career in family law practice.

Skills and Experience

Ideally, you will have at least 1-2 years post-admission experience and a keen interest in family law. Whether you have practiced in family law before, or are interested in a career change, you will work collaboratively with the team to deliver quality legal services to our family law clients. 

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is able to build and develop client relationships

  • Has excellent communication skills

  • Enjoys court work

  • Is confident running their own files with supervision as needed

  • Is self-motivated, uses initiative and sees matters through to completion

  • Is client-focused and takes a keen interest in understanding and managing client needs and expectations

  • Has experience working with people from a diverse range of backgrounds

  • Has good attention to detail
