Job summary:

• Up to 25 hours per week

• Casual Award Rates as well as Weekend rates

• Barista experience an advantage

• This is an immediate start position

• Must be available for early morning starts (5am/5:30am) and weekend shifts.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Barista/Cafe All Rounder to join our team at Gloria Jeans North Mackay, Evans Avenue.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday: 5:00am – 4:30pm

Saturday: 6:00am - 1:00pm

Sunday: 6:30am – 12:30pm

We are a small team, so if you are an enthusiastic team player who enjoys being in a fast-paced environment, we would be happy for you to join our GJ team.

Barista experience is a huge advantage but not essential. We will provide training for all suitable candidates.

Essential skills include: Point of sale/register use, cash handling experience, ability to work in fast-paced environments, basic food safety knowledge,General Cleaning and strong customer service skills.

Day-to-day:

Assisting with the preparation of and the serving of all meals and beverages to customers, always ensuring great customer service.

Check stock levels and replenish when necessary.

Ensure the café/restaurant is presented to a high standard throughout the day and carry out a thorough cleaning at the end of the day.

Assist with the ordering and deliveries as required.
