We’re on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Duty Manager to join our team at The Aussie Hotel, South Townsville.

As Duty Manager, you’ll be hands-on and involved in all aspects of the venue’s daily operations — leading by example, ensuring great customer experiences, and keeping the good vibes rolling from open to close.

What you’ll do:

• Oversee daily venue operations, including bar, restaurant, and gaming areas

• Lead and support front-of-house staff during shifts

• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve issues promptly

• Manage cash handling, tills, and end-of-day reports

• Ensure compliance with licensing, RSA, and OH&S regulations

• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Positive attitude and the ability to stay calm under pressure

• Current RSA, RSG & RMLV certificates

• Availability to work a rotating roster including nights and weekends
