ABOUT US
Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA) Flexible Schools Ltd educates over 2,200 young people in 22 Flexible Learning Schools (12 based in Queensland and 10 other schools across Australia) and serves young people who experience complex educational, social or psychological situations which demand unique responses. They enable young people to engage in education in a supported learning environment through a methodology based on trauma informed practice, in which the principles of operation (Honesty, Respect, Participation, Safe & Legal) are embedded.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Kitchen Coordinator will report to the Head of Campus and is expected to work collaboratively with all staff and young people in the school. The primary role of Kitchen Coordinator is a stand-alone role that will be required to prepare a menu, then to prepare and provide healthy meals to the young people.

KEY ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE

  • Qualifications and experience to successfully carry out the duties of Kitchen Coordinator
  • Willingness to engage in Professional Development and continued learning
  • Willingness and ability to cater for school events
  • Current and valid Blue Card or the ability to obtain.
  • Current first aid certificate or ability to obtain.
  • Current food handlers certificate
  • Current and valid Queensland Driver’s License.
