Do you have a passion for cooking and want to bring your skills into the workforce? PCYC Leadership Development Centre - Capricorn Coast is currently seeking a casual Cook to join our team. Your New Role

Reporting to the Camp Manager, your exciting new role will see you being responsible for ensuring that all meals are prepared to an industry acceptable standard. You will also provide support to the Camp Manager in operations connected with the Centre kitchen. About You

  • Industry recognised qualification in cooking/catering (Desirable)
  • Demonstrated cooking experience in a bistro-style outlet and competency in food handling
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to effectively supervise staff, including volunteers
  • Demonstrated experience of managing a kitchen and ensuring food preparation hygiene standards

Please note: Working With Children Check (Blue Card) No Card, No Start and Restricted Person legislation applies. All PCYC employees are required to complete a National Police Check upon commencement.
