About the role

As a Cook/Cleaner at WATERDRILL AUSTRALIA PTY LTD', you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the remote camp facilities. This is a full-time position based out of Mackay, QLD 4740, going to remote Queensland to our drilling rig.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals for employees, following recipes and maintaining quality standards

  • Ensure the kitchen and dining areas are kept clean and organised at all times

  • Stock and maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients

  • Assist with food service and clean-up duties as needed

  • Keep all rooms clean and tidy

  • Daily washing and general cleaning duties.

  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the kitchen

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a cook or in a similar food service role

  • Minimum of 2+ years cooking experience required

  • Strong cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques

  • Ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean and organised work environment

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Commitment to upholding high standards of food safety and hygiene
