About your opportunity

• Deliver a high level of professional client focused high-risk medication sweep service within an evidence-based, quality and multidisciplinary health care environment. This includes: training, education and research activities to the wards and units serviced by the Pharmacy Department.
• Promote safe, effective and efficient use of medicines in keeping with the department's goals and objectives and mission statements for the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS).

PLEASE NOTE: This is a temporary part-time, to cover various periods of leave up to 12 months (various hours).

Competitive salary and benefits:

• Salary range: $64.64 to $69.55 p.h. (HP4)
• 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
• 4  weeks (pro rata) annual leave with 17.5% loading

• Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Requirements:

• Possession of a Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree from a recognised tertiary institution (or equivalent).
• A health-related post-graduate qualification and/or enrolment in the SHPA residency program are desirable.
• Rostered overtime and on call are a requirement of this position.
• Variable working hours providing a 7-day extended hour's pharmacy service will be required.
