This position is being offered in a Permanent Part-Time capacity (0.8FTE), 57.2 hours per fortnight.
This is a progressional position as per the Role Description. The successful applicant will be appointed to the lower classification with eligibility for progression to the next, once specific criteria have been met or demonstrated. Please note salary rate shown is reflective of both classification ranges.

As a member of the Town High team, the successful applicant will meaningfully contribute to the positive mental health and engagement of secondary students through evidence-based interventions.
Through one-on-one individual intervention supporting students who are demonstrating early signs of mental health difficulties, small group work driven by school data, and collaboration with school staff, the school-based social worker seeks to positively impact school culture and wellbeing across support tiers.
