The Mental Health Inpatient Unit at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Clinical Nurse Consultant to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity

The Clinical Nurse Consultant is accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination of clinical practice delivered within the Mental Health Unit, Division of Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs.

About the Team

Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs Service

The Mental Health and AOD Service is comprised of eight clinical teams across the MHHS. The Mental Health Service is responsible for the provision of comprehensive, specialised mental health assessment and treatment services across the age-spectrum for people with severe and complex mental health problems. Our services aim to be consumer focused and recovery oriented and are provided in a variety of settings including community, an acute inpatient unit, hospitals and emergency departments.
