Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Salary range: $128,169 to $151,949 p.a. (HP4/NG7)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

About your opportunity

Community Forensic Outreach Service (CFOS) is a team within the Community Forensic Mental Health Service which provides high level clinical and risk assessment and recommendations for the management of mental health consumers who have committed, are alleged to have committed or are at risk of committing an offence. CFOS provides a consultation and liaison role to mental health treating teams within Townsville, North West Queensland and Mackay Hospital and Health Services.

Requirements:

Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (if applicable)

  • Qualification for Nursing: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory and registration with AHPRA.
  • Qualification for Occupational Therapy, Psychology and Social Work: Applicable qualification from an accredited tertiary institution and registration with AHPRA.
  • Appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) under the Mental Health Act 2016 would be highly desirable.
  • Drivers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate license endorsement to operate this vehicle is required.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
