Exciting opportunity for the best suited applicant who is eager to advance their career as a Biomedical Technician Cadet. To be successful you will perform a wide range of technical support activities and on the job skills development while engaged in formal part-time tertiary studies to obtain an approved Advanced Diploma or Associated Degree in Engineering qualification.

Role fit

The essential requirements for this role are:

  • Ability to gain knowledge and skills in the maintenance, installation and technical support of health technology equipment and systems, including information systems and networks
  • Ability to work as a team member to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and to resolve problems.
  • Ability to analyse and solve problems by drawing on knowledge and applying logical thought processes.
