Your New Role
As theEmergency Services Officer (ESO), you will play a critical role in maintainingemergency and crisis preparedness across site operations. You will respond toemergency incidents, support local community call‑outs when required,assist with Emergency Response Team (ERT) training, maintain emergencyequipment to compliance standards, provide clinical support within your scope,and contribute to site access control and security monitoring. This is acoverage role only.
 
What You’ll Need to Succeed

TAE40116 Training & Assessment or equivalent

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid

HLTAID015 Provide Advanced Resuscitation (or higher)

Certificate IV in Emergency Medical Response (or equivalent)

Certificate III in Emergency Response & Rescue (desirable)

Demonstrated crisis/emergency response capability

Strong understanding of emergency management systems, mine safety legislation and compliance frameworks

Experience delivering training and supporting workforce capability development

Background in mining/resources or pre‑hospital/emergency services

Confidence operating across emergency response, safety systems, incident investigation and access/security controls
