What’s the role? Are you ready to step up and lead? We’re looking for a hands-on, motivated Mechanical Leading Hand to join our team. Based in Rockhampton and reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in overseeing the repair and rebuild of radiators and cooling components for heavy mining equipment. As Our New Leading Hand, You Will Lead and mentor a small team.Ensure the smooth repair, rebuild, and remanufacture of cooling components for mobile mining equipment.Be hands-on with a mix of planning, quality control, and technical work.Work on top-tier brands like Caterpillar, Komatsu, Liebherr and Hitachi.Support continuous improvement and innovative practices.Help us exceed our customers’ expectations for component availability and productivity. What We Need From You A mechanical trade qualification (fitter, mechanic, boilermaker or similar).Leadership experience.A can-do attitude with a knack for problem-solving.Solid communication skills – teamwork makes the dream work!Experience with mobile mining equipment or heavy industry?
