Are you a trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter who takes pride in high-quality workmanship? We are currently seeking a reliable, hands-on professional to join our team in Townsville. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced industrial environments and enjoys the challenge of keeping critical machinery running at peak performance.

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you won't just be turning spanners; you'll be the backbone of our operational reliability. Your day-to-day will involve: Maintenance & Repair: Executing planned and breakdown maintenance on a variety of industrial plant equipment.

Precision Fitting: Overhauling water pumps, gearboxes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems. Diagnostics: Troubleshooting mechanical faults to minimise downtime. Safety Leadership: Maintaining a "safety first" mindset in every task you undertake.

What You Bring to the Table Trade Qualification: Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Fitter/Machinist) or equivalent.

Experience: A solid background in industrial or manufacturing environments is highly preferred. Reliability: You are punctual, professional, and ready to get stuck in. Safety Compliance: You must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screen and remain compliant with ongoing site testing.
