We are seeking an experienced and passionate Educational Leader to work across at our Cubby Care Mt Louisa service in Townsville, supporting teams to deliver high-quality, child-centred education. This is a unique opportunity for an educational leader looking for flexibility, part-time hours, and the chance to work in collaboration with multiple services as a trusted mentor and guide.

At Cubby Care, we are committed to creating nurturing, engaging, and inspiring environments for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. We believe in fostering genuine relationships and delivering high-quality early childhood experiences that lay the foundation for lifelong learning.

About the Role:

As an Educational Leader, you will collaborate with educators across our centre and other educational leaders to elevate practice and ensure our programs reflect the best outcomes for children. You will have a strong focus on Quality Area 1, helping our teams move toward exceeding standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the development and continuous improvement of educational programs and pedagogy

• Supporting educators to embed the Early Years Learning Framework and child development theory into practice

• Reviewing and enhancing documentation, learning environments, and teaching strategies

• Coaching and mentoring educators to grow their professional capacity and confidence

• Fostering a collaborative, reflective, and accountable team culture

About You:

• Diploma or Degree-qualified in Early Childhood Education

• Proven experience in an educational leadership or senior educator role

• Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQF and NQS

• Confident in mentoring others and leading educational change

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Passionate about creating meaningful outcomes for children, families, and educators
