We are seeking an experienced and passionate Educational Leader to work across at our Cubby Care Mt Louisa service in Townsville, supporting teams to deliver high-quality, child-centred education. This is a unique opportunity for an educational leader looking for flexibility, part-time hours, and the chance to work in collaboration with multiple services as a trusted mentor and guide.
At Cubby Care, we are committed to creating nurturing, engaging, and inspiring environments for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. We believe in fostering genuine relationships and delivering high-quality early childhood experiences that lay the foundation for lifelong learning.
About the Role:
As an Educational Leader, you will collaborate with educators across our centre and other educational leaders to elevate practice and ensure our programs reflect the best outcomes for children. You will have a strong focus on Quality Area 1, helping our teams move toward exceeding standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the development and continuous improvement of educational programs and pedagogy
Supporting educators to embed the Early Years Learning Framework and child development theory into practice
Reviewing and enhancing documentation, learning environments, and teaching strategies
Coaching and mentoring educators to grow their professional capacity and confidence
Fostering a collaborative, reflective, and accountable team culture

About You:
Diploma or Degree-qualified in Early Childhood Education
Proven experience in an educational leadership or senior educator role
Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQF and NQS
Confident in mentoring others and leading educational change
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Passionate about creating meaningful outcomes for children, families, and educators
