The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Truck Trainer/Assessor to join our site-based training team in permanent positions. This is an excellent opportunity to work on one of Queensland’s most significant mining operations, delivering high-quality operator training within a professional and collaborative environment.
In this role, you will play a key part in developing the capability of our production workforce, ensuring operators are trained and assessed in line with site, safety, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver practical training and competency assessments for haul truck operators
• Support the rollout of site-based training programs and initiatives
• Maintain accurate training records, assessments, and related documentation
• Identify skill gaps and contribute to continuous improvement in training delivery
• Promote and model a strong safety-first culture across the workforce

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current Enterprise Trainer/Assessor qualification or equivalent
• RII haul truck competencies (CAT 789 or above), with electric drive experience highly desirable
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (highly regarded)
• Proven experience delivering training in an open cut mining environment
• A current Queensland Driver’s Licence
