An A04 Assessment Officer wanted for a position based in Mackay, QLD.

Your new company 
This role plays a key part in assessing and determining building disputes, home warranty insurance claims, licensing matters and compliance issues, contributing to high‑quality regulatory services that protect the community and reduce risk. Your new role 
In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Accurate analysis and assessment of building disputes, licensing applications, insurance claims (including declines), and compliance matters in line with legislation and policy.
  • Fair and balanced decision‑making that considers all parties and withstands scrutiny or review.
  • High‑quality communication, ensuring all customer interactions and case notes meet professional standards.
  • Effective caseload management to meet required throughput and performance measures. 
  • Clear regulatory advice provided to consumers, contractors, and industry stakeholders.
  • Professional representation of the company, including at hearings, tribunal matters, and promotional/education activities.

  • Educate customers about their rights, responsibilities and the company's role.

  • What you'll get in return 
    You will join a fast-paced team helping deliver high quality service to their customers. You will be on a causal contract through Hays working full time hours Monday to Friday 36.25 hours per week. An attractive rate of $58.02 per hour + Super and Penalties.
