Salary Range: $ 120,229 - $ 126, 795 per annum + Superannuation (pending experience)

In this advisory role, you will work in partnership with school leadership teams to strengthen inclusive education across up to ten schools within a School Improvement Team. You will provide specialised, evidence-informed advice and support to guide the implementation of contemporary inclusive practices, aligned with legislative obligations and system priorities.

Working closely with Principals, Inclusive Practices Teachers and classroom educators, you’ll build capability through strategic advice, instructional coaching and professional dialogue. You’ll support schools to embed sustainable approaches that enhance access, participation and achievement for students with disability and diverse learning profiles.

You’ll guide planning processes relating to reasonable adjustments, Adjusted Curriculum Plans, Individual Education Plans, behaviour and risk planning, and support schools in implementing and moderating the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data. You’ll also contribute to complex case discussions and collaborate with the Inclusive Education Team regarding specialised supports and assistive technology.

Highly organised and collaborative, you’ll be confident operating at both school and system levels, maintaining clear documentation and strong professional partnerships. Regular travel across the Diocese of Townsville is required.

The successful candidate will hold full registration with the Queensland College of Teachers, a current paid Blue Card, a valid Australian driver’s licence and the ability to travel as required.
