About the role

We are currently seeking Aged Care Support Workers who live in and around Townsville to support Aged participants to live independently within their own home. This would be by helping them achieve daily activities such as:

  • Domestic assistance - General housework including but not limited to dusting, ironing, mopping, laundry, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
  • Personal care assistance - Showering, toileting, grooming and dressing
  • Reporting and documentation

You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and would get the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can.

What you need:

  • Current references
  • Mobile phone
  • Current driver's licence and your own car with insurance
  • NDIS Worker's Clearance or willing to obtain (mandatory)
  • First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain (mandatory)
  • Working with Children's Check or willing to obtain (mandatory)
  • Passionate about caring and committed to client wellbeing
  • Certificate III (Ageing and Disability) or equivalent

Shift times available are:

  • There are a variety of shifts avail Monday - Friday. Please put your availabilities when filling out your application form.
