About The Role As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing the lives of people with disabilities and young individuals by providing tailored, person-centred support. Whether it’s daily living assistance, emotional guidance, or community engagement, your work will help create a more inclusive and compassionate society. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, individualised support to people with disabilities Assist with personal care, mobility, and skill development Build meaningful connections and provide mentorship and emotional support Support community participation and recreational activities Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement support plans Advocate for customer rights and promote independence Create safe, trauma-informed environments for young people with complex needs What You'll Need Passionate about human rights and creating positive change Empathetic, compassionate, and resilient Excellent communication and teamwork skillsCertificate IV in Disability or Child, Youth & Family Intervention (or willingness to obtain) click here to view more detailsCurrent First Aid, CPR, Drivers licence & NDIS Worker check or willingness to obtainAvailability for 24/7 rostered shifts including days, sleep overs, weekends & public holidays Why Join Aruma?
