We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Disability Support Workers. Role Overview As a Disability Support Worker, in Townsville Qld, you will provide support to individuals in their homes and the community, assisting them to live as independently as possible and achieve their NDIS goals. 2 Permanent Part-time roles available, working in our Learning & Lifestyle Centre - North Ward30 hours per fortnight minimum Ideal Candidate Attributes Empathetic and reliable, demonstrating compassion and dependability in all interactions;Proactive, taking initiative to meet the needs of those you support;Strong communicators, able to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members;Flexible and adaptable, open to learning and adjusting to varying support needs;Team-oriented, working collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for clients. Requirements Experience in both one-on-one and group support settings;Experience working with challenging behaviours is desired;Ability to work independently and as part of a team;Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills;Flexibility to work varying shifts;A current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.
