Franna / Crane Operator – 2/1 Roster (Day Shift)

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Franna / Crane Operator to join our team on a 2 weeks on / 1 week off roster- Rockhampton based. This position operates on day shift and offers consistent ongoing work within a supportive and professional environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating mobile pick-and-carry (Franna) cranes to safely lift, move, and position materials across site. You will work closely with supervisors, riggers, and site personnel to ensure all lifting operations are completed efficiently and in full compliance with workplace health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Franna cranes safely and efficiently

• Conduct pre-start inspections and daily maintenance checks

• Interpret lift plans and load charts

• Follow all site safety and compliance procedures

• Communicate clearly with ground crew and site supervisors

Requirements:

• Valid High Risk Work Licence (C6 or equivalent)

• Demonstrated Franna operating experience

• Strong understanding of WHS regulations

• Ability to work a 2/1 FIFO or rostered arrangement

• Pass medical and drug & alcohol screening

• Current driver’s licence
