Mendi Constructions is a Townsville-based civil construction company delivering infrastructure projects across North Queensland. Due to ongoing work and growth, we are seeking an experienced Civil Construction Supervisor to join our site delivery team.
This is a hands-on, site-based role working closely with the Project Manager to supervise day-to-day construction activities and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
You will be responsible for supervising site works, managing crews and subcontractors, and coordinating plant, materials, and resources to meet program and quality requirements. The role suits a supervisor who is practical, organised, and confident leading teams on civil construction sites.
Supervise daily civil construction activities on site
Lead site crews and subcontractors to achieve program targets
Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and standards
Maintain strong safety, environmental, and quality practices
Coordinate plant, materials, and labour requirements
Work closely with the Project Manager to manage progress and resolve issues
Minimum 5 years’ experience supervising civil construction projects
Strong background in earthworks, road pavements, and structures
Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical specifications
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage site teams
Strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance
Ability to work to tight timeframes in a busy site environment
