Rae of Sunshine Supports have vacancies for Support Workers to join our team in the Rockhampton area.

Job Details:

  • Currently recruiting for casual Support Worker positions
  • Day, Afternoon & Evening shift rosters available
  • Various participant locations around the Rockhampton region

The role may consist of the following services:

  • Personal care which may including manual handling tasks
  • Meal prep
  • Domestic assistance
  • Pet care
  • Lawn and yard maintenance
  • Social and community access
  • In-home support
  • Help support clients to achieve their goals
  • Assist clients with many aspects of life

Requirements (or willing to obtain):

  • Driver’s license
  • Road worthy, reliable vehicle
  • Blue Card / Working with Children
  • International Police Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
  • First Aid & CPR certificate
  • Must be fully Vaccinated for COVID-19
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • Working rights in Australia - Sponsorship is not available

Desirable:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support Disability/Aged Care or related studies (or willing to undertake)
  • Knowledge and understanding of the NDIS system.
  • Manual Handling Certificate
  • Sound experience in the disability or allied health/welfare/education fields.
  • A minimum of one year's driving experience and a full driving license.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills along with previous experience of interacting with a diverse range of clientele would be highly regarded.

This role offers various shifts with flexible working hours. Current regular casual shifts are available.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $28.68 – $38.33 per hour
