CRDVS is a specialist domestic and family violence service focused on safety, accountability and meaningful change.

This role is embedded within YETI, a youth service supporting young people who may be experiencing instability, disconnection and complex risk.
Domestic and family violence can intersect with a number of competing priorities and needs for young people and may require complex system navigation and support.
In this role you will:
Build trusting relationships with young people while maintaining clear boundaries
Support young people experiencing distress, anger or uncertainty
Apply a specialist DFV perspective when working alongside other practitioners
Contribute to a safe and supportive environment for vulnerable young people
This work requires strong emotional regulation and reflective practice.
Induction is structured and gradual, allowing you to build confidence before managing a full caseload.
Ongoing support includes:
Monthly internal supervision
External supervision every two months
Access to debriefing and reflective conversations
Protected team time for case discussion
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
These supports ensure practitioners are well supported in complex youth work.
Practitioners who do well in this role often demonstrate:
Warm and genuine engagement with young people
Clear and consistent professional boundaries
Confidence supporting young people in challenging circumstances
Comfort discussing power, coercion and safety
Willingness to reflect on practice and adapt
Active use of supervision and team support
A relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Youth Work or Community Services is required.
Salary: $100,000 – $105,000 plus superannuation (SCHADS Level 5).
